National Library of Wales training day for HE library staff, Wednesday August 15 2007

Following the launch of their new website, a new integrated library catalogue and online registration, The National Library of Wales is offering a free training day on Wednesday 15 August to library staff from HE institutions in Wales. The session will be at the NLW starting at 10:30am until 3:30pm and will cover:
an overview of NLW collections
a tour of the NLW
online registration for the NLW and for an Athens username and password
electronic resources and access via Athens
a demonstration of the new online library catalogue
the new library website
enquiry service
the document delivery and copying services
If you are interested in attending, please fill in the online booking form or contact Elizabeth Kensler (see below). If you are unable to attend this session, please indicate on the form whether you would be interested in attending a similar session at the NLW at a later date.
Please note that lunch is not provided but the Library Restaurant, Pen Dinas, will be open.
