Information Literacy: Enabling users in higher education? / Sharon Markless
Summary: A free, participatory and hands-on training event for library staff from HE and NHS libraries in Wales and for National Library of Wales staff, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and organised as part of CyMAL’s @ Your Library Programme (Marketing Strand).
Trainer: Sharon Markless currently works as a lecturer in the Institute of Learning and Teaching, Kings' College, London and as a freelance researcher and trainer. She taught in schools, further education and prisons before becoming a Senior Lecturer in Professional Development at Canterbury Christ Church University College. In addition, she was a Senior Research Officer at the National Foundation for Education Research for six years and played a leading role in several national projects.
